Woodbank Garden Centre is a great destination for a fun and enriching school outing. However, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both students and staff, we require all schools to pre-book their visit.

• Manageable Numbers: Pre-booking allows us to better manage visitor flow, creating a less crowded and more enjoyable environment for everyone.

• Freedom to Explore: With fewer groups on-site, students will have more freedom to explore our extensive garden centre and enjoy the facilities at their own pace.

• A beautiful garden centre with a wide variety of plants, flowers, and gardening supplies.

• Ample space for students to roam and explore.

• Pets & Aquatics Department: An exciting area featuring cuddly small animals (like hamsters and guinea pigs) and vibrant tropical and cold-water fish tanks. It’s a wonderful, engaging space for children to learn about different creatures!

• Meet Elvis the Macaw: Don’t forget to stop by and say hello to our resident legend Elvis, our cheeky and friendly blue and gold macaw parrot, who loves meeting new faces!

• A restaurant serving delicious refreshments (perfect for a break).

A Quick Note on Your Visit

While we love hosting schools, please note that our visits are self-guided. Our team will be hard at work running the garden centre, nursery, and pet departments, so we aren’t able to provide teaching or guided tours.
