Celebrate Elvis’s 23rd Birthday at Woodbank!

If you’ve visited us over the years, chances are you’ve already met Elvis, our resident Blue & Gold Macaw. He is a true character, a local legend, and this month he is turning 23!

To celebrate, we are throwing a big weekend birthday bash, and you are all invited. It is going to be two full days packed with activities, games, good food, and family fun.

Here is everything you need to know:

When & Where

• Saturday, 12th September: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Sunday 13th September: 10:00 am to 3:30 pm

• Where: Woodbank Garden Centre & Nurseries, Harden (near Bingley)

What’s Happening Over the Weekend

We have put together plenty to keep kids and grown-ups entertained all day:

• Meet Reptiles, Birds & Animals: Walk On The Wild Side Animal Encounters will bring an amazing collection of reptiles, birds, and other animals.

• Bouncy Castles: Plenty of room for the kids to burn off some energy.

• Live Music: Enjoy lively tunes courtesy of The Travelling Hillbillies.

• Games & Stalls: Try your hand at Hook A Duck, Highland Cow Hoopla, Tin Can Alley, and Incy Wincy Spider.

• Charity Tombola: Support Herby and the wonderful team at Bingley Hedgehog Rescue.

• Face Painting: Available throughout the weekend (paid separately).

• Treats & Goodies: Balloons, birthday buns, treats, and plenty of birthday spirit.

Food & Drinks

We’ll have a BBQ fired up with hot food and cold soft drinks available to buy all day, so you won’t need to worry about cooking lunch.

Game Stall Tickets

Tickets for the stall games are £3 each, or you can grab 4 for £10.
