Westland Farmyard Manure (50L) is a premium soil conditioner that adds structure, nutrients, and fertility to your garden. Composed of manures and composted organic matter, it naturally breaks down in the soil, releasing essential nutrients for higher crop yields.

This rich source of organic matter and humus is ideal for mulching, mixing in during planting, and conditioning the soil to promote the healthy, vibrant growth of plants, fruits, and vegetables.

How to Use

Note: Ideal for beds and borders, vegetable plots, roses, trees, and shrubs. This product is not suitable for ericaceous (acid-loving) plants.

First, put on a pair of gloves and rework the manure between your hands to reconstitute it before applying.

1. Mulching Beds & Borders

• Apply a thick layer (3–4cm deep) over the soil surface.

• Spread evenly around the bases of your existing plants.

2. Improving Soil Structure & Fertility

• Spread a thick layer (3–4cm deep) over the soil.

• Using a garden fork, work the manure into the top 15–20cm of the soil surface.

3. Planting Out Roses, Trees, or Shrubs

• Dig a hole approximately twice the depth and diameter of the root ball.

• Mix 1 part Westland Farmyard Manure with 5 parts soil.

• Add some of this new mix back into the planting hole.

• Place the plant in the hole, fill the remaining gaps with the mixture, firm down the soil, and water generously.
